UbiquePOS is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard data when you use our business management platform, including POS, inventory, vendor, and expense modules. By using UbiquePOS, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect: • Account Information: Name, email, phone, role, and branch assigned during setup. • Business Data: Products, sales, inventory, vendor records, and expenses entered into the system. • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device, OS, and access timestamps for security and auditing. • Usage Data: Features used and interaction patterns to improve our service.
Your information is used to: • Operate and deliver all platform modules. • Enforce role-based and branch-based access control. • Generate business reports (daily, weekly, monthly). • Detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised activity. • Provide customer support and resolve technical issues. • Improve the platform through aggregated usage analysis. We do NOT use your business data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
We do not sell or trade your data. Sharing occurs only in these cases: • Service Providers: Trusted hosting and email partners under strict confidentiality agreements. • Legal Compliance: When required by Nigerian law, court order, or government authority. • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, with advance notice. • Your Consent: Any other sharing requires explicit written consent.
We implement: • TLS 1.3 encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. • Role-based access control so staff only see relevant data. • Full audit logging with user attribution and timestamps. • Automated daily backups with point-in-time recovery. No internet transmission is 100% secure. We will notify you promptly of any breach affecting your data.
By using UbiquePOS you agree to these terms: • Eligibility: You must be 18+ and a legally registered business or authorised representative. • Account Security: You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential. Notify us immediately of unauthorised access. • Subscription: Access requires timely payment. Non-payment may result in suspension without loss of your data. • Modifications: We may update the platform and terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
You agree NOT to: • Bypass or circumvent any security or access controls. • Use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or prohibited activities. • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code. • Share account credentials with unauthorised individuals. • Use automated bots or scrapers against our systems. • Facilitate money laundering, tax evasion, or any financial crime. Violation may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
To the maximum extent permitted by law: • UbiquePOS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. • Total liability for any claim shall not exceed fees paid in the prior 3 months. • We are not responsible for data loss from your failure to maintain backups. • Maintenance windows, force majeure, or third-party outages do not constitute a breach.
