About

Built by people who understand how Nigerian businesses actually run.

Not adapted from something built elsewhere. Not translated. Written from the start for shops that take cash, lose the network, sell in fractions and run several counters at once.

It started with a problem we kept seeing

An owner with three shops could tell you last month's turnover to the naira and could not tell you which of the three was losing money. The figures existed. They were in a notebook at one branch, a spreadsheet at another, and somebody's head at the third.

Every system we looked at solved this by asking the owner to do more work: reconcile here, key in there, remember to file the report. The ones that did not were priced per user in dollars, which in a shop with six cashiers is a tax on employing people.

So the rule became: derive it, do not ask for it

Almost nothing in UbiquePOS is typed twice. The day's takings, the split across cash and transfer and card, what was refunded, what it cost, the profit: all of it is worked out from sales that already happened.

A cashier types exactly one number at close of business, which is what is physically in the drawer, because that is the only fact no record can produce on its own. Everything else the system already knows, and a number nobody had to key is a number nobody can quietly shape.

Context

Not adapted. Not translated. Native.

The way Nigerians actually pay

Cash, bank transfer, POS terminal and card, individually or split across several in one sale. Four buttons on the till because there are four ways money arrives.

Built for the light going

NEPA takes the light, the network drops, the queue does not stop. Sales complete offline on the device and sync when the connection returns, tagged so nothing is counted twice.

Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt on one screen

Owners here rarely have one shop in one city. Running branches in different states from a single dashboard is the thing this was built to do, not a feature bolted on later.

Selling by the bag and by the trailer

A quarter, an eighth, a sixteenth of a carton, recorded and charged to four decimal places with no silent rounding. Software written for supermarket barcodes cannot do this.

Managing Nigerian teams

Clock in and out, shift scheduling, task assignment, announcements to every branch. Built around how staff are actually supervised here rather than an imported HR model.

An analyst that answers in plain English

Ask how much the bar made yesterday, or what is low in stock, and get a real figure read from your own branches. Not a chatbot with a generic answer.

Commitments

What we hold ourselves to.

Honesty in numbers

Every figure, revenue, expenses, vendor balances, is calculated as it should be. We do not round in the flattering direction, skip a deduction, or show you the version that looks better. Your business deserves accurate numbers rather than comfortable ones, and a report you cannot trust is worse than no report, because you will act on it.

Your data is yours, and portable

Your records belong to you. We do not sell them or share them with third parties, and every sale, product, staff and vendor record can be pulled into a complete export on request, with no fee and no questions. We would rather you stayed because the product is worth it than because leaving is painful.

One platform, and nobody sees anybody else

Many businesses run on the same system. Every record carries the business it belongs to, and every query is filtered by it before it runs, at the framework level rather than page by page. No screen, report or export can reach another company's data.

Real human support

When something goes wrong you reach a person, not a chatbot and not a ticket that takes three days. We answer critical issues within hours, in plain English, from people who understand what a Saturday rush looks like.

Simple on the surface, deep underneath

The system reconciles stock across every branch in real time, and the attendant taps a product and takes the money. Making complicated things feel simple is most of the work. The depth is there when you need it and out of the way when you do not.

We grow with you

One branch and three staff today, ten branches and a hundred staff in two years, same system either way. Every feature here exists because a real Nigerian business needed it. Nothing is here just to look good in a demo.

Stop running your business blind.

Seven days, every feature, nothing to pay. Close your first day on it tomorrow.
